It is vital that we do everything possible to make our views known on SPEN’s Strategic Reinforcement Project and encourage influencial people and organisations to do likewise. The greater the response the greater the chance we have of influencing their proposal so that it is much less damaging.
In due course the proposal will go to Dumfries and Galloway Council. If the Council doesn’t support the proposal it is likely to go to a Public Inquiry. We need to ensure that local Councillors, MSPs and MPs are all aware of the concerns you may have. There is more about contacting politicians here.
