Ramblers Scotland is formulating its position at the moment. On 5 November 2015, Helen Todd of the organisation said:
“I’m attending a meeting next week with a number of other organisations including the National Trust for Scotland, Scottish Campaign for National Parks and the Association for the Protection of Rural Scotland, when the potential options for joint campaigning work over this proposed powerline will be discussed.
I have already sent an email to our groups in Wigtownshire, South Ayrshire and Dumfries & District to let them know about your campaign group and encourage them to look at the website if they would like to get involved or would like more information”.
